Sharon Tetlow, Managing Partner

Ms. Sharon E. Tetlow, MBA, is the founder of Potrero Hill Advisors and has been its Managing Partner since January 2016.

Ms. Tetlow has 30 years of experience in life sciences finance. She has extensive experience working with public and private investors, managing teams and providing strategic support to boards and executives.

Among other roles, she has served as Chief Financial Officer of Cell Genesys, Pathwork Diagnostics, and diaDexus; Venture Partner at Apax; Corporate Treasurer at Synergen; and Finance Manager at Genentech.

A veteran of the life sciences industry, she leverages her broad professional network of C-level executives, investors, and key industry influencers to bring the right people to the table. She is known for having raised equity, overseen financial operations and managed shareholder relations. She is often invited to serve as a speaker or panel moderator at financial conferences. 

She also has served as an Associate at the Brookings Institution in Washington, D.C. and as a Board Member at Katherine Michiels School, Project Open Mind.

Ms. Tetlow holds a Master of Business Administration from the Graduate School of Business, Stanford University and a Bachelor of Arts and Science degree in Psychology magna cum laude from the University of Delaware.
